Measurement forms are provided in Adobe PDF format. Download the Adobe Reader for free, here.
Each of our measurement forms has its own set of detailed measuring instructions. However, here are a few general tips that should be followed for all measurements.
1) Use a soft tailors measuring tape. For the most accurate results, be sure to use a tailors measuring tape. They are available at any craft store for around $1.00.
2) Have someone else measure you. It is very difficult to get correct measurements doing them yourself. For the most accurate measurements, we suggest having someone else take them. Most bridal and alteration shops will take your measurements for free or a small fee. Local customers can also have us measure them for custom garments.
3) Wear undergarments similar to what you show in.This will ensure the garment fits propertly when worn in the show ring. Here is a quick reference of which undergarments to use for each item. Tops - bra or camisole, Pants - underwear & boots, Chaps - show pants & boots. More details are included on the measurement forms.
4) Any questions, contact us! If you have questions when taking measurements, please contact us for clarification. Custom garments are non-returnable so you must ensure the measurements are correct. We are not responsible for poor fit due to incorrect measurements.
