Custom Order Policies

Due to a large number of design requests that did not result in an order in 2008, I have been forced to change my policy. For 2009, I will only perform design consultations for clients who have booked a slot, or paid a $50 design fee (see sidebar).

This new policy has been put into effect so that I may dedicate my time to serious clients.

Booking Your Order
There are a limited number of custom order slots each season. Slots are booked as order forms and deposits are received. In order to keep our garments reasonable, most supplies are ordered on a per project basis. Because of this we ask that you book your slot at least 6 weeks in advance to allow enough time for design consultations, ordering of supplies and garment construction.

Order Deposits
A 50% deposit is required before any work will begin. Deposits are non-refundable. If you decide not to complete the sale, the deposit will be considered a consultation fee and applied towards supplies ordered on your behalf.

The remaining 50%, including any applicable shipping charges, is due upon completion of the garment. Orders will not be released until full payment has been received, No exceptions.

We understand that extenuating circumstances may occur and will handle such situations on an individual basis.

Payment Methods Accepted
PayPal, personal check, USPS Money Orders & credit cards via PayPal

PayPal is our preferred method of payment, we accept all forms including e-checks. International buyers must pay via PayPal no exceptions.

All items will be shipped once payment clears. Items paid by personal check will be held until check clears both banks, no exceptions.

Returns, Alterations & Shipping

Returns
Custom orders are non-returnable. Please measure yourself carefully to ensure a proper fit. We are not responsible for poor garment fit due to incorrect measurements. If you have any questions, please contact us for assistance. Most bridal and alteration shops will measure you for free or a small fee.

Alterations
Please try all items on as soon as they are received. Minor alterations will be performed free of charge if we are contacted within 7 days of the garments receipt. After this time, alteration charges will apply. Client pays all shipping charges. We are not responsible if a garment's fit is compromised due to weight changes between the time it is ordered and worn.

Shipping
We ship via USPS Priority Mail, USPS Priority Mail International & Ground carriers. Insurance is required on all custom orders. In addition to the United States we are happy to ship to Canada, UK, Europe, Germany, Australia & New Zealand. All others please contact us.

 


 

Design Consultation Packages

Think you want a custom garment but aren't quite sure? Our design consultation packages can help.

Our packages include: design consultation, color selection, material suggestions, accessory & saddle blanket suggestions & at least one full color design drawing.
(All designs are sole property of Saddletime Designs, they may not be copied or redistributed.)


For only $50 we can develop a look just for you. Should you decide to go ahead with the custom garment, the consultation fee will be applied towards your purchase.

Design consultation is complimentary for all clients who have booked a slot and paid a 50% deposit towards their new garment.
